Ankle Bracelets
Although not actually a bracelet ankle jewellery often carries the term, also referred to as anklet or ankle chains. These pretty pieces of jewellery have a history that can be traced back thousands of years.

History references the wearing of ankle jewellery on either left or right. In Europe and the US the ankle bracelet is usually worn on the left ankle.
Loose or Tight?
Ankle bracelets tend to be worn loose so that the sit on the top of the foot. Ankle bracelets can also have a chain to a toe ring.
